At Ran (Randee Co., Ltd.), we want to remind you that we will never request your financial account details or credit card information through SMS or phone calls under any circumstances. Additionally, we will not ask you to visit a bank in person or use an ATM for any transactions via these methods.
If you receive such calls or messages, please stay alert and do not follow any instructions from unknown sources. In case of any doubts, please contact Ran (Randee Co., Ltd.) immediately or call the Police Department's Anti-Fraud Hotline at 165 for verification.
When you receive calls with caller IDs starting with “+”, “+2”, or “+886”, exercise caution as these may be from fraudulent sources manipulating caller IDs to pose as companies, banks, or legal entities. Be particularly wary of unknown links, unfamiliar LINE friend requests, or suspicious SMS messages, and avoid clicking on them.
Common scam tactics include claims of "duplicate orders" or "erroneously set installment payments" to gain your trust and then ask you to perform internet banking or ATM operations. If you receive such calls relating to banking issues, contact your bank directly. If you're asked to provide account information or perform specific actions, refuse to comply to minimize the risk of fraud.
We also recommend regularly changing your passwords and using strong combinations (mix of uppercase, lowercase letters, and numbers). Avoid entering your account information on public computers to enhance your security.
Best wishes from Ran.
